Sulla campana vi sono antichissime incisioni che la fanno risalire a una civiltà del passato, tanto avanzata tecnologicamente quanto malvagia, che si sarebbe presto risvegliata dal letargo millenario nel quale si trovava. Proprio in quel periodo il figlio di Shiba, Hiroshi, a soli tre giorni di vita, viene coinvolto in un’esplosione che lo riduce in fin di vita. Il professore allora decide di tentare un esperimento: sfruttando le potenzialità della campana di bronzo di agire come sorgente elettromagnetica, miniaturizza il manufatto e lo nasconde nel petto del figlio. Ciò permetterà a Hiroshi di avere in futuro poteri fuori dal comune. 25 anni dopo la scoperta, le profezie della campana diventano realtà. Il malvagio popolo Aniba si risveglia dal lungo sonno. La perfida regina Himika, al comando di un numerosissimo esercito di soldati, rivendica la sua sovranità sul territorio giapponese e si dichiara disposta a tutto pur di riavere ciò che considera suo. Per poter regnare incontrastata, però, Himika deve recuperare la preziosa campana di bronzo che custodisce un preziosissimo segreto, e che ora si trova nelle mani del professor Shiba.
