Review by K. Laubenstein for Tekno Mega Mech R/C Robot 48-Inch
Rating:
The Mega Mech R/C Robot 48 inch by Tekno is a fun product for kids ages 5-7, but takes a lot of time to blow up and space to move around. Once it gets going, the kids love it! But as it’s an inflatable, it soon started tipping over where it stood and continued to lean no matter how much air in legs. Needs some support for it to function and be sturdy enough for longer play. The speech was great the first time, but with only 5 variations, it also soon grew old for the kids. For the price, it was a good deal, and if your little one loves to have control and RC figures, it will be a hit.

This robot rolls on a platform. Rolls forward and backward, and can turn left and right, all with the remote. It moves slowly, and says a few phrases in a robotic voice. Really a kick, for the price we got it for. We have not had any problem with it flopping over due to inflate problems. However, now what? The kids have guided it around the house, and now they’re on to other things. It will be fun to show their friends when they come over… Where are we going to keep this thing? Anyway, I rate it 5 stars because it’s so fun and silly.

Previous reviews were helpful to me in purchasing this product. I got exactly what I expected, basic remote control functions in a “wow” of a package. Santa was a hero in our house on Christmas morning. My son is 6, loves all things robotic and remote controlled. The only negative is that my son has expectations that the robot is “real” and will do what he says. Reasonably durable for an inflatable product. It gets significant play whenever someone new comes over.

My 4-year-old son received this for Christmas. He had wanted a robot and found this already fully inflated under, well next to, the tree. All of our holiday visitors have been impressed by the size of this toy. It has extremely simple controls that my son has had no problems working. The voice sounds are not very clear but he doesn’t seem to mind. I believe older kids would get bored very quickly with this because it moves slow and doesn’t really do a whole lot. It is inflatable after all. However, the younger ones (probably ages 4 to 7) will get a kick out of it. (Warning: my 2-year-old daughter was afraid of it.)

I bought this robot as a Christmas gift for my husband. He loves it! It was easy to put together – just inflate with the included foot pump and snap onto the base. It’s only two pieces plus the remote. It does require more batteries than stated in the description – 3 AAA for the remote and 6 AA for the robot itself. The plastic is a heavy quality, and we have not had any issues with sagging or falling over. The Robot is very stable. My friend’s four year old daughter was fascinated by it on a recent visit. She loved to make it talk! It is a simple, fun toy.
Review by A. Stagg for Wall-E Interaction Eve
Rating:
My son actually prefers Interaction Eve to Interaction Wall-E. Like Interaction Wall-E, Eve works best when you buy BOTH toys and she and Wall-E can talk to each other. Both cost me about $29 each.
However, Eve is fun on her own. When you raise her “arm”, she makes shooting noises…what kid DOESN’T like that?? When you pick her up and hold her horizontal, she makes a flying noise. My son actually prefers playing with the Interaction Eve more than the Interaction Wall-E. The Wall-E version is a bit difficult to push and does not have motorized treads.
Eve shows basic emotions via her eyes which take on different shapes as she says and does different things. Eve is sturdy and fun for the kids. Highly Recommended!
Update May 2009: Toy is still going strong> My son does not play with it as often as he did at first, but he is still using it and enjoying it. Price has gone up considerably since the holidays on Amazon.
Review by J. J. Marino for Wall-E Interaction Eve

I bought this for my daughter for the holidays. She loved Eve in the movie and I had gotten my son the Wall-E version. This is a very fun toy to play with. It has motion sensing so it can tell when your making it fly. Its eyes are emotive and match the movie character exactly. You also get her blaster so when you raise her right arm she make a Zap! noise directly from the movie, also her eyes do the sharpshooter wink.
Pros
>> Thourougly enjoyable
>> Seems like it came out of the movie
>> Feels like an Apple product
>> Interactive if you say things from the movie it responds
>> If you haveInteraction Wall-E they talk to each other.

This is an awesome toy! I thought that this would probably break if you were too rough with it,but it didn’t! I mean, some part might pop off it it was hit in the right spot but its pretty hard to do that with this toy. This is a fun and incredibly durable toy,if your child is absolutely IN LOVE with the Wall-E movie then this is a perfect gift for them to enjoy!

We purchased this to go with talking Wall-E to give to some friends. It is a super toy. Just so cool for even the adults to play with. We almost decided to keep it for ourselves. She is fun on her own as well as paired with the interactive Wall-E. She’s a little tough to get out of the box because you’re afraid you might break her but other than that Eve, was well worth the money.

EVE is a great toy — my Grandsons love it –they are ages 4 and 5 — they have Wall-E to go with it and they work best together — this version is very age appropriate for them and they also have the DVD so it made a great combo gift for the two of them.
